I've been shooting since 2011, i work in and around South Yorkshire and have started to go international. My work has been varied starting with portraiture to fashion, of course weddings, sport to more artistic endeavours (though i'd never call myself an artist) and i've found where i best fit is on the outside looking in covering events, capturing those candid moments that are easily forgotten, i've been likened to a ninja due to the near stealthy way i move only making myself known when i go in for the shot.

"I’ve been incredibly lucky to work with Nick a number of times over the years, some times they’ve been themed photo shoots, a film noir/forties-esque Superman shoot was my first time modelling, and despite my nerves, Nick put me immediately at ease, saying I was a natural, which really helped a lot, and helped to boost my confidence no end. But the one that stands out the most for me was the Born in Blood shoot, stepped completely out of my comfort zone, but also helped to express myself, an experience I found to be very emotional, but also liberating. If you’ve never taken part in a photo shoot before, and are somewhat shy or apprehensive, but still really want to give it a go, you couldn’t be in safer or more understanding hands." "I've worked with Nick several times, both on film sets and in the studio. He is a fantastic photographer, with a good eye for detail, and an easy going manner. I felt comfortable at all times, and he consistently produces results that I love. Thanks Nick x" Sharon Spink
"I had the pleasure of working with Nick on his recent Born In Blood project. I was looking forward to it but nervous too - I'm not a typical model but I needn't have bothered. Nick was so lovely. He really made me feel at ease, explaining what he was trying to do, making sure I was happy with everything and listened to my ideas. The photos that I got looked awesome. It was a fantastic time and would highly recommend Nick to anyone." Jay Mikayla
"What can i say about Nick? I'm sure that by simply looking at his work you can see what an amazing photograher is. His work is fantastic and i LOVE how he can bring a picture he takes of me to life. I have had the pleasure of working with Nick a few times and each time he has achieved stunning results. We have a great time together, he makes me feel very much at ease and he has a wicked sense of humour. I love watching him work and seeing how he takes the time to set up for a shoot. Hence, the brilliant images here. He is happy to instruct you when posing and keeps you informed about what he is doing so that you know what effect he is going for. I would recommend that everyone work with this very talended individual (but please dont steal him from me. lol) I look forward to working with him as much as possible." Nicole Rayner
"I shot my first art nude with Nick, and it was great!! He made me feel very comfortable! And we had a great time! Lots of fun using up the last of the blood! It was great to watch Nick work - he is a very talented photographer and his passion shines through! His energy is great. And the images he has produced are amazing! I feel so lucky to have been part of this great project. We managed a lot of different sets on our shoot all of which are so different! It's amazing what Nick can do in the little studio of his! Just want to say a massive thank you to Nick for his kind words, for a great first shoot and for giving me the confidence to continue! Wonderful guy to work with, highly recommended, and I'm very excited to shoot with Nick again at some point!!" Tara Liggett
"Some people speak different languages and then there are those who speak light. A real photography language that is known by few. For the first time I could really see someone who could see things even my very capable and Well trained eye could not. All of which was translated into photographic poetry. Give him a room with four walls and he would have found a way to make it interesting. One of the most enjoyable things about working with Nick. Super creative." |
